ACT WorkKeys® is a national system for assessing workplace skills and enables education and business to work together to strengthen achievement of workplace skills.
The ACT WorkKeys is a skills assessment test for those who are interested in or are currently working for employers that place an emphasis on the National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC), which is the credential achieved by those who successfully complete the exam.

Workkeys® is a job skills assessment system that measures real-world skills, and:
  • Connects work skills, training, and testing for education and employers.
  • Makes it easier to meet the requirements of federal programs and legislation.
  • Supports economic and workforce development programs.
  • The basis for the National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)*.

In consultation with employers, educators, and experts in employment and training requirements, ACT has identified key generic employability skills: skills crucial to effective performance in most jobs.

AHP Consulting offers ACT WorkKeys testing for paraprofessionals who are seeking employment with the Mobile County Board of Education or any school system within the state of Alabama.

AHP Consulting offers the BAT-ACT WorkKeys testing for law enforcement officers who are seeking employment with APOST within the state of Alabama.  The testing location is located within the city of Mobile at AHP's Learning Center Site.
